Mindfulness is a form of meditation whereby we practice bringing our attention to the present moment. Paying attention to the things we are sensing and feeling in that moment. And we do this in a totally none judgemental way.

Mindfulness Meditation is good for improving your health both mentally and physically.

Prastising mindfulness involves breathwork, visualisation, and other practices such as deep relaxation to help destress the body and mind.

There are different types of meditation methods we can use for this.

For example:

Body Scan: where attention is paid to the feelings and sensations of the body without attachment. From the top of the head to the tip of the toes.

Sitting: not as easy as it sounds. There is an ancient form from Japan called Shikantaza, the art of just sitting and let everything just be. It is a hard practice to truly master. But one that is truly beautiful, if you are prepared to truly practice it.

Walking: Being out in nature and being aware of the sight and sounds all around in great detail.
