About Me as a Reiki Master (2025)
I received my Reiki I, Reiki II, and Reiki Master training under the guidance of Usui Reiki Master Melissa Crowhurst, founder of the Natural Healer (certified by AADP, INHA, and CCTA).
As an energy healer, I am continually refining my skills, incorporating tools like crystals and sound frequencies to enhance the healing experience. My practice is deeply rooted in intuition, allowing me to connect and work with energy on a profound level.
I am a member of the Complementary Medical Association (CMA).
About Reiki
The term "Reiki" translates to "universal life energy" in Japanese, embodying the practice’s essence.
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing technique designed to reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. It works by addressing energy blockages in the body, much like reflexology, acupressure, or zone therapy.
When energy becomes stagnant, it can leave you feeling drained, emotionally overwhelmed, and may even hinder the body’s natural healing process during times of illness.
How I work
In my Reiki sessions, I listen with more than hands. I follow breath, sensation, and the quiet language of the body. You may feel gentle sweeps, swirling motions, or pauses where the energy asks to rest.
My practice blends traditional Usui wisdom with intuitive, somatic care. I work gently, listening to breath, sensation, and the subtle shifts that guide healing. You may experience soft hand placements, swirling motions to awaken energy, or pauses that allow your system to recalibrate.
What does Reiki do?
Ultimately, Reiki is a holistic tool for enhancing your overall sense of peace, vitality, and connection—to yourself and the world around you.
The goal of Reiki is to restore both physical and emotional well-being by balancing the body’s energy centers, known as chakras.
In a Reiki session, I guide the flow of vital energy back to its natural, balanced state, releasing stagnant energy and fostering harmony within.
Reiki promotes relaxation, supports the body’s natural healing processes, and nurtures a holistic sense of well-being for the mind, body, and spirit.
How does Reiki help?
People seek Reiki sessions for various reasons. You might feel burdened by stress, anxiety, or emotional upheaval and long for a soothing yet powerful way to release tension and experience relaxation.
Reiki can also support individuals dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, or other physical challenges by encouraging the body’s innate ability to heal itself.
Additionally, Reiki can provide comfort during times of grief, or offer valuable clarity, support, and a sense of peace when navigating life’s challenges. Or maybe you're just looking for some 'me time', book your session today.
Immediate sensations during and after Reiki
Deep parasympathetic rest:
Most clients drop into a meditative stillness. Breath slows, muscles soften, and the body begins to recalibrate.
Emotional spaciousness:
Reiki often clears energetic congestion. You may feel tearful, joyful, or simply more open.
Subtle energetic shifts:
Tingling, warmth, or gentle pulsing in the hands, chest, or limbs are common. Some describe a sense of “being held” or “floating.”
Mental quiet:
Thoughts may slow or dissolve. Clients often report feeling “clearer” or “more themselves.”
🌀 In the hours that follow
Energetic integration:
Reiki continues working after the session ends. You might feel sleepy, thirsty, or mildly disoriented as your system adjusts.
Emotional release:
Old patterns may surface gently. This is part of the body’s natural unwinding.
Renewed vitality:
Many report improved sleep, smoother digestion, or a sense of inner brightness within 24–48 hours.

🔹️Hydrate generously to support energetic and lymphatic flow.
